  • Primary Function:   The Career Specialist works collectively with partner schools to provide middle-level (5th-8th grade) students with career exploration, assessment, guidance, and planning to include: assistance with the development of Individual Career Academic Plans (ICAP), introduction to OKCareerGuide, coordination of work-based learning experiences and workforce internships, recruitment strategies, and Career Tech program tours.

    Minimum Qualifications:  A Bachelor’s degree in education, career tech education, or equivalent, with three (3) years’ professional work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position.  A teaching certificate issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education is preferred.

  • Primary Function:   The Construction Technology Instructor will be responsible for creating a dynamic classroom/lab environment that supports industry standards, engages students in career and technical education, and provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to become employable in the construction industry. 

    Actual program training will consist of curriculum materials covering a wide range of construction related courses which meet the requirements for National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) credentials; as well as provide practical, hands-on skills training through the design and construction of a ‘tiny’ ‘smart’ home on an annual basis.

  • Primary Function:   This position is responsible for the development, instruction, and implementation, of an interactive program that challenges students to learn to effectively apply resources and problem-solving strategies to enhance employability skills and provide a workforce for local business and industry. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of initiative, be open minded, forward thinking, community oriented and have the ability and willingness to encourage students to operate with a high degree of autonomy. 

    Minimum Qualifications:  Minimum requirements consist of a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Teaching Certificate issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. The successful applicant may be required to obtain a bus driving certificate.

  • Primary Function:   This position is assigned duties and responsibilities to provide direct and indirect student services to promote student achievement and career development in coordination with the district’s career guidance and student services strategies in support of student success

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in guidance counseling, career and technology education or related field with a valid Oklahoma counseling credential issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.  An LPC is preferred.

  • Primary Function:   This position is responsible for the development, instruction, and implementation, of an Interactive Program that challenges students to learn to effectively apply resources and problem-solving strategies to real-world problems that provide value to the service-area community and provide a workforce for local business and industry. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of initiative, be open minded, forward thinking, community oriented and have the ability and willingness to encourage students to operate with a high degree of autonomy, while providing opportunities for students to use relevant software and technology such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, inDesign, Microsoft Suites, drone technology, video and digital photography, video editing, sound recording, 3D printing, vinyl printing, and graphic layout and design.

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must possess or qualify for a Standard Teaching Certificate in Vocational/Career Tech Business or Marketing Education issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and approved by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.  A Bachelor’s Degree is required. The successful applicant may be required to obtain a bus driving certificate.

  • Primary Function:   The successful candidate will be an office professional who wants to be a team player and provide excellent customer service when interacting with students, guests, and administration.  Applicant should possess experience working with MS Word, Excel, Access, etc., write grammatically correct business letters and answer business phones appropriately, operate office technology, serve as testing liaison, maintain student records, examine invoices, and other source documents to verify obligations and post appropriate records, prepare financial reports, and assist campus/district staff as needed.  Additionally, this position is responsible for meeting room reservations, preparation, and technology set-up.  Work schedule will be primarily evenings.

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must possess a high school diploma/equivalent or higher.

  • Primary Function:   This position is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of instruction and training in the field of Automotive Service & Repair to high school and adult students in a classroom/shop environment.

  • Primary Function:   This position is responsible for the development, organization, implementation and delivery of practical and technical instruction involving theoretical and skills-based training to high school and adult students in a classroom/lab/clinical environment.

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must be a Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse currently licensed in Oklahoma with two (2) years nursing experience within the last five (5) years and one (1) year long-term care experience, possess or qualify for a secondary Career & Technology Health Occupations teaching certificate issued by the Oklahoma Department of Education and approved by the Health Careers Education Division of the State Department of CareerTech.  A Bachelor’s Degree and teaching experience are preferred.  The successful applicant may be required to obtain a CDL with a passenger endorsement.  More information regarding the teaching certification can be found at the following link:  http://www.okcareertech.org/educators/certifications/certification-application-and-renewal-processes
