Primary Function: This position is responsible for the facilitation of a career major designed to improve the student’s ability to take charge of their learning through real-world projects. This student-centered, self-directed approach challenges students with experiences to learn to effectively apply resources and problem-solving strategies to real-world situations that provide value to the community. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of initiative, be open minded, forward thinking, community oriented and have the ability and willingness to encourage students to practice autonomy and serve as a resource guide and facilitator in providing students the opportunities to use relevant technology and software applications.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or similar field; and, three years of working experience in graphic design or a closely related field. Applicants must possess or qualify for a Teaching Certificate issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and approved by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
