  • Primary Function:   Provides training to future practical nurses in the classroom, clinical, and skills lab settings, resulting in the knowledge and skills that are required for entry into the healthcare workforce.  Collaborates to maintain current, evidenced-based curriculum.  Functions as an effective member of the practical nurse.  

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must be a Registered Nurse holding a valid unencumbered license to practice in Oklahoma with: minimum of two (2) years full-time equivalent practice as a RN in a clinical setting preceding the first date of first employment as a nursing faculty member; minimum of an Associate Degree, and has evidence of acceptance into a Bachelor of Nursing program OR evidence of continued progress toward a Bachelor of Nursing with completion of a minimum of six (6) semester hours per calendar year.

    Starting Date: To be determined

    Salary:  $61,455 – $63,725 plus a comprehensive Benefit Package including paid health insurance and 100% contribution into the Teacher’s Retirement System of Oklahoma for full-time faculty.  This position “WORKS A SCHOOL SCHEDULE” – including a week off at Thanksgiving, two weeks off at Christmas, a week off for Spring Break, and you’re off for the month of July.
