Spotlight on Blake Cochran, Arrowhead Earthworks, LLC

Blake Cochran grew up working on his family ranch so he understands the value of hard work. After completing the short-term Heavy Equipment Operator program at Kiamichi Tech – Hugo, Cochran started his own demolition and excavation company. 

“At Kiamichi Tech I was tought how to operate and maintain heavy equipment safely, and it gave me an opportunity to become familiar with various machines, digging techniques and grading,” said Cochran. 

Cochran said he chose training at Tech after researching other programs online becuase of the quality of the equipment, curriculum and instructor.

“This program gave me the experience I needed to be comfortable when operating machinery and the confidence I needed to start my own business,” said Cochran. “By the time I graduated from Kiamichi Tech, I had learned more about the excavation and construction industry as a whole. This has helped me better understand projects and processes on the job site.”

Arrowhead Earthworks specializes in aggregate hauling, skid steer and mini excavator services. The company serves all of southeastern Oklahoma, northeastern Texas and southwestern Arkansas. Check them out on Facebook!
