Ron Boyer Sworn in as Kiamichi Tech Board Member

WILBURTON, Okla. – Ron Boyer, retired engineer and former county commissioner, took the oath of office to serve on the Kiamichi Tech Board of Education at the Board meeting in April. Boyer will represent Zone 5 of the Kiamichi Tech District, which includes Durant and surrounding communities.  

“We are excited to have Mr. Boyer join our Board of Education,” said Superintendent Shelley Free. “His professional experience and proven knowledge in his field will bring a valued perspective to our Board."  
 

Boyer is a Bryan County resident and has served on the business and education council at the Kiamichi Tech – Durant campus since 2020. 

“My goal is to empower the next generation and Kiamichi Tech is educating and empowering our students to be successful,” said Boyer. “So, I am honored to serve on the Board of Education, and look forward to working with the other Board members and Kiamichi Tech administration.”
