Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)

Step into the world of climate control with hands-on training in HVAC and refrigeration systems. This program prepares students for careers in residential and light commercial HVAC, focusing on system design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Installation and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Blueprint, electrical schematic and sequence chart interpretation
  • Safe handling of pressurized fluids and hazardous substances
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components
  • Industry best practices for HVAC system efficiency

Credentials & Certifications

Air Conditioning - Employment Ready EPA Section 608 Technician Certificate Gas Heat - Employment Ready HVACR Technician Refrigeration Technician Electrical - Employment Ready OSHA 10 - General Industry After successful completion of the program, students will obtain credit for two years of apprenticeship with the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board, making them eligible to take the Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman license exam to become an endorsed apprentice.
