Workforce Training That Works

The Kiamichi Tech Center for Workforce Advancement in Durant is the premier workforce training hub for Bryan County and surrounding communities. Through the strategic efforts of our Workforce and Economic Development team, we play a vital role in strengthening the local workforce by increasing the number of highly skilled industry professionals.

Since opening in March 2021, the Center has been a catalyst for customized industry training, beginning with specialized programs designed to support the Choctaw Nation Casino expansion project. That effort is just one example of how we partner with local employers to deliver targeted, high-impact training tailored to their workforce needs.

Today, the Center continues to offer a wide range of training opportunities — from safety, healthcare and information technology to personal enrichment classes that foster lifelong learning.
