Policy 4.9
It is the policy of Kiamichi Technology Centers that selected students, upon the recommendation of both the instructor and campus director, may be assigned to work‐site learning experiences in areas related to their occupational training for a period of time that is deemed appropriate by the instructor, campus director, and the prospective work‐site learning employer. While doing work‐site learning high school students must maintain attendance at their partner school.
Work‐site learning will not be performed for Kiamichi Tech Board Members, administrators, professional staff, the specific instructor of the local program, or immediate family members of these individuals. Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, parent, sibling, grandparent, grandchild and corresponding relationship by marriage.
Students may or may not be paid for work‐site learning.
