Austin Clark Selected as 2026 NextGen Under 30 Award Honoree

DURANT, Okla. – Kiamichi Tech is proud to announce that Austin Clark, Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Specialist at the Durant Campus, has been selected as a 2026 NextGen Under 30 Award honoree. This prestigious recognition celebrates young professionals across Oklahoma who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
Since joining Kiamichi Tech in 2023, Austin Clark has dedicated his work to helping students with disabilities prepare for success in education, employment and life after high school. Through career-readiness instruction, work-based learning opportunities and strong partnerships with schools, employers and community organizations, he empowers students to build confidence, develop self-advocacy skills and achieve their goals.
“Austin has a genuine passion for helping students discover their strengths and possibilities for the future,” said Shelley Free, Kiamichi Tech Superintendent. “His ability to connect with students, families, educators and employers creates meaningful opportunities that have a lasting impact."
In his role, Austin Clark develops and delivers engaging career exploration and workplace-readiness programs, coordinates internship and work-based learning experiences and collaborates with schools and community partners throughout Bryan County to expand access to services and resources.
