The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is an introductory survey of emergency medical services including medical legal/ethical aspects, patient assessment, care of wounds and fractures, airway maintenance, patient transportation, medical and environmental emergency, child birth and extrication. This short-term program is 256 hours. Financial aid is not avaialble. 

  • Emergency Medical Technician (256) – Adult Learners Only

Paramedic Program Accreditation Information

The Kiamichi Tech EMS Program is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Upon recommendation of the Committee of Accreditation of Education Programs for Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). Graduates of this state-approved program are eligible to apply and test the National Registry of EMT's (NREMT). Applicants for Oklahoma licensure must meet all state and federal requirements to hold an Oklahoma license. To contact the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, call 727-210-2350.
