Step 1: Explore Your Options

Step 2: Get Started – Request Information

Your journey officially begins here! Complete our online Request for Information form to enter our system and gain access to helpful resources. This also allows you to text and email our team with questions as you navigate the admissions process.

Step 3: Apply for Admission

Once you’ve found the program that fits your goals, it’s time to submit your application! Our simple online application will guide you through the process. The priority deadline is Feb. 1 for most programs. Please note that there is a different application process for Practical Nursing and Emergency Medical Services students.

Step 4: Complete Pre-Enrollment Testing (if neccesary)

If you do not have ACT or Pre-ACT scores, you must complete pre-enrollment testing during the application process. You can take the Career Ready 101 assessment for free at the Career Connections Center on any Kiamichi Tech campus.

Step 5: Submit Required Documents

To complete your application, make sure you send in all necessary documentation. For high school students, you will need a parent/guardian’s email address to request a parent/guardian authorization form, as well as your school counselor’s email address to request an official transcript, attendance record, diciplinary record, test scores and a four-year plan of study. 

Step 6: Complete a Career Interest Assessment

Within the admissions application, you’ll have the opportunity to take a career interest assessment to help determine your ideal career pathway.

• If you’ve already completed the assessment, you can upload your scores or enter them manually.
• If you haven’t taken it yet, simply click the link provided in the application to take the free assessment. Your scores will automatically be submitted. 

Step 7: Apply for Financial Aid (Adult Learners Only)

If you’re an adult student, financial aid may be available to help with tuition costs. Explore your options and apply for assistance to make your education even more accessible.

Step 8: Attend Your Interview

Once your application is successfully submitted, including all required documentation, you will receive a confirmation email with important next steps—including how to schedule your interview for placement. This is your chance to meet with your instructor, ask questions and ensure Kiamichi Tech is the right fit for you. Interviews are a key part of our admissions process.

Step 9: Acceptance Notifications

Decisions are made in March! If accepted, you’ll receive an acceptance packet and official notification with details on your next steps as you prepare to start your journey at Kiamichi Tech.
