Electrical Lineman

Power the future with hands-on training in the Electrical Lineman Training Program at Kiamichi Tech. Learn the skills needed to build, maintain, and repair electrical power systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This program prepares students for high-demand careers in the utility and electrical distribution industry.

What You’ll Learn

  • Climbing and working safely on utility poles and towers

  • Installation and maintenance of overhead and underground power lines

  • Operation of bucket trucks, digger derricks, and linework equipment

  • Electrical theory, system components, and troubleshooting

  • OSHA standards, safety protocols, and emergency procedures

  • Teamwork and communication skills critical to linework operations

    $20 - $30/Hour*
