How We Communicate with Students

Kiamichi Tech uses StudentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. We encourage you to download the mobile app and register your account to stay up-to-date with what is happening at Kiamichi Tech.

  1. Alerts – How we will communicate quickly for real-time updates, safety drills and in emergency situations.
  2. Messaging – Direct messaging between two or more people.
  3. Posts – Creates a conversation thread, like a social media page specifically for your class.

How We Communicate with Parents

ParentSquare is an engagement tool that helps teachers and staf easily communicate and collaborate with you and your student. 

Some features include:

  • Mass notifications and urgent alerts with two-way communication
  • Mobile application for students and parents (iOS and Android)
  • Attendance notifications
  • Teacher and classroom communication
  • Direct messaging with two-way translation

As a registered parent, you can:

  • Receive messages from the school and district via phone, email, text, or app notification
  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest 
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Direct message teachers, staff, and other parents
  • Participate in group messages from schools and teachers
