Rice takes gold at HVAC Contest

Congratulations to Grant Rice, gold medalist in the 2018 State SkillsUSA Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning Technology competition.  Rice is a junior at Heavener High School and attends HVAC Technology at the Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau.  Rice is receiving a $7,500 scholarship for Lincoln Technology School in Grande Prairie, Texas.  He also received over $2,000 worth of new HVAC tools.  Rice will compete in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference June 25-29, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky.  David Rogers is the HVAC instructor at KTC’s Poteau Campus
