Technology Centers, Atoka Campus and AmeriState recognized Tana Henry as the KTC
Student of the Year. Tana is a Tushka High School student in the Cosmetology
“Tana has an
outstanding work ethic. She is wonderful representative of the Cosmetology
Program and has served SkillsUSA as the State Secretary this year. She is a
leader among her peers and takes responsibility for her own learning to be
successful in this program.,” said Shelly Callicoat, Cosmetology Instructor at
Kiamichi Technology Centers.
Technology Centers, Atoka Campus is honored to recognize this outstanding
student as the Student of the Year and would like to thank AmeriState for their
partnership in honoring our students.
Technology Centers has played an integral role in southeastern Oklahoma communities
since 1968, serving ten full and three partial counties. KTC is one of 29
districts in the Oklahoma CareerTech system with more than 30 career programs.
KTC also offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses as
well as certifications in many diverse career fields. KTC serves nearly 23,000
individuals each year, including many area companies who receive training
through the Business and Industry Services division that works with over 400
